Depending on your individual specifications, we can recommend one of 3 types of website. We offer a free consultation so please get in touch if you have any questions or would like to book a meeting. We’d be happy to find out how we can help you create the perfect web site!
We define micro sites as a single web page containing minimal information. This page can be highly unique and eye-catching—a slice of interactive art for the web. This kind of site works best for sites needing none or very few future updates.
This option may be right for you if you would like to:
- make an attractive feature cover-page for your existing website
- design a personal profile with your contact details
- set up a memorable holding page for something coming soon
- design a destination for a specific piece of art work, place, event etc.
A project like this will likely cost at least 2 days of work.
By our definition, a small site is still a single web page, yet it contains significantly more content compared to a micro site. This page will be designed inline with your own aesthetic style however some limiting factors may occur if you are looking to be able to update the site easily yourself.
This might be the choice for you if you are looking to:
- design a more elaborate piece of artwork for the web
- create a dynamic single-page portfolio
- build a single page blog, shop, collection of files etc.
Small sites tend to cost at least 3 days of work.
As defined by the name, multi-page sites contain more than one web page. We can design you a custom child theme for a WordPress site, or work with another website-building platform as you prefer. This type of site works best for a small business or practice, to display a variety of content. A site like this will be built in such a way to make it easy to navigate and maintain.
We recommend a multi-page site if you would like to:
- create a web site for a small business, practice, charity etc.
- bring various collections of content together e.g. a blog, shop and video channel
- collaborate with a group of people to publish content to a shared web site
Multi-page sites tend to cost at least 4 days of work.
Domains and hosting
In order to keep a web site accessible via the internet, it must be hosted by a server. You can pay to rent server space with a company such as Godaddy or Bluehost for around £100 per year. We offer hosting services for free when you opt to share ours.
If you don’t already have one, you will need to pay an ongoing fee for your domain. We can arrange this for you and will cost around £20 per year.

Each project is different and can only be predicted more accurately after having an initial conversation. Please get in touch if you have any questions or to book a free consultation.
